World of Goo release imminent

World of Goo has finally had a release date announced. The Wiiware version will be coming out on the 13th of October and, the PC version (that was preordered) will start being released tomorrow (the 6th of October). Since I was one of the people who pre-ordered the game I really hope I get it soon for two reasons. 1, I want to play it, and 2, I want to review it.

The developers, 2d Boy, have posted an FAQ about the upcoming World of Goo release and they finally answer the question everybody has wanted to know…

Q: what about the profanity pack, mother****ers?
A: it’s coming but it won’t be available on launch. everyone who pre-ordered will be notified by email with a download link when it’s ready.

The official trailer has also been updated to feature the new content. Some good stuff all round and a game I can’t wait to get my grubby mitts on.
