I know at least one person who will enjoy this game so I thought I'd mention it.
There has been a Wizball remake in development for some time... and it's finally released this weekend.
The game is made by Graham Goring who is well known in the remakes community for his ceaseless game development. There are rumours going around that he is now hanging up his remake boots and heading for a career in indie game dev.
There's some extra info about the original Wizball on wikipedia...
Wizball is a computer game written by Jon Hare and Chris Yates (who together formed the company Sensible Software) and released in 1987 for the Commodore 64, ZX Spectrum and Amstrad CPC. Versions for the Amiga, Atari ST and PC were also released. The music in the Commodore 64 version was composed by Martin Galway.
And you can download the new remake on the games download page at Retrospec.
