Wii Fit Trailer
The initial Wii Fit announcement did very little for me. I could see the potential, and I was sure Nintendo were on to a good thing (much like their Brain Training games), but I didn’t think I would be getting it myself.
Having seen the videos below I am now not so sure. The mini games look like they could be quite amusing and there seems to be serious exercises too.
The video shows a number of examples of the types of games/ exercises that are on offer – and apparently there are quite a few more that haven’t been seen. I’m amazed at the amount of different exercises they have gotten out of a peripheral that is so simple.
I like the use of the Mii’s in there. It’ll be good to be able to stretch my miniature Mii legs once more.
I also think the yoga moves are a great addition, and I hope there is more of that sort of thing. We have recently started doing yoga/ pilates twice a week at work and after some initial hesitancy have ended up quite enjoying it.
The sensitivity of the board is quite impressive too. Being able to control the tilt table with the mini game is quite cool. Looks like it would be suitable for something like Super Monkeyball as well.
