I have a thing about ball physics (watch out for more in next weeks webgame Wednesday). It's probably the simplest of all physics based games but it also offers many opportunities for interesting gameplay.
Recently the Science Museum (a wonderful, very well known English museum) published a new flash based physics ball game called Launchball.
The game has been very well put together and does things slightly differently to the average physics puzzle game. In many ways reminiscent of the Fantastic Machine, in Launchball you use real world objects to interact with a ball. You have a series of blocks that you must use to get the ball to the exit. The interest comes from working how the objects work together. To top it all off, the Science Museum being a place with a heavy educational focus, you get told interesting snippets about each of the contraptions you work with.
The game really is very well put together - far above the usual stuff that gets made for these sorts of institutions. Go and play Launchball now and become educated (whilst having fun).

Looks cool. I could do with seeing the code for my own ball bouncing research.
Ha Haaa - I'm afraid I can't help you with that bit
