Webgame Wednesday : Bowja the Ninja 2

Bowja the Ninja 2: (Inside Bigman's Compound) is the sequel to the wonderfully imaginative Bowja the Ninja 1 (makes sense really).

Bowja the Ninja 1 was only released recently but with a game as technically simple as this the developers are only limited by their creativity and this is something Robin Vensel from Pencilkids is not short of.

This is a game that you play for the experience. If you're looking for a challenge then this game is not for you - it's fairly short and a lot of the challenges are clearly signposted. However the story, and the sense of charm make up for this in spades.

Since the first game the controls have been refined slightly. The mouse cursor now turns into a small rotating widget when you can not interact with anything reducing frustration.

I like the fact that there are big scary robot monsters but you never feel particularly fearful for your character... afterall - you're a ninja, you can survive anything!

Bowja the Ninja 2 is a very enjoyable half an hour of adventuring goodness. Check it out.
