Webgame Wednesday : Banana Dash

Banana Dash is a physics based platform game. You play a monkey like little man who has to dash around levels, grabbing bananas as quickly as he can in order to reach the finish line before the time runs out. At first I was a little dubious as the character looks a bit strange, but once I got into it I realised the physics are actually very nice, and the little dude needs to be tiny to fly around the levels in the way he does.

Each level has a time limit for you to finish in. You can keep playing each level as quickly or slowly as you like but you can only progress once you finish the level within the time limit.

There are a variety of physics based obstacles scattered around the levels, which can be used to help (and hinder) your travels.

The graphics are nice and clean - bold colours and solid lines - which means you never get lost or confused as to what is what. There are also some helpful little circus animals that encourage you as you fly around the place.

The worst part about the game is that there are so few levels, it won’t take you long to finish it - but Banana Dash is a fun excursion into a slightly bizarre world and is great whilst it lasts.
