Miss the good old days of 2d platforming?
Nintendo have gone back to their roots and are currently working on a new 2d platformer - Wario Land Shake. The game is coming out on the Nintendo Wii and will feature a variety of shake based motion controls. Get Wario to perform various tricks and skills by shaking and tilting the Wiimote.
The video below shows some of his abilities and how to use the Wiimote to use them.
Despite being 2d I think the game looks really nice. It retains the feel of the Wario Land GBA games and is something different that you can get nowhere else. I also like that they haven't gone crazy with special effects and 3d gubbins, something that has plagued other "2d" platformers of recent times.
