Trackmania DS – first footage

I love me some Trackmania, and later this year there’s a version coming to the DS. The video below shows the first gameplay footage (after the teaser trailer earlier this year) and thankfully it’s looking really nice. In fact visually it’s looking a lot more impressive than I had imagined it would.

I played a bit of Trackmania Nations game a couple of months ago and, whilst I thoroughly enjoyed it, I did get to a stage where I couldn’t get any further – so I really hope the DS version is a bit more casual, or at least has more of the easier levels Regardless I will be buying this, I can’t miss the DS first foray into the series.
