The original Tony Hawk’s games were by far the best. Sure, they didn’t have such big levels, and the tricks weren’t quite so varied – but that was a good thing. The smaller levels meant the fun was more condensed – it was easier to find the objectives – and there was less random roaming (or even running in later games). This made the whole thing a much tighter experience… and it seems Activision have realised this as well.

“We’re going back to the core of what made the original Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games so popular, while leveraging today’s console power and online capabilities,” said Tony Hawk. “We’ve updated many elements to reflect today’s skateboarding scene as well. Long-time fans of the series will appreciate the huge amount of polished content at a very low price.”
