The Wii Experience

I hadn’t noticed before but today one of my friends pointed out that Nintendo have posted a bunch of videos showing people playing games on the Wii. No game footage (well… very little) just the people playing the games. And guess what? They’re all having fun.

I realise it’s all part of marketing but I think these people look like they are genuinely enjoying themselves. It’s also interesting to see the range of people who have participated. There are a number of females and older people and they are all having as much fun as each other.

Traditionally video games have been very passive, and watching others play is boring. Could the Wii change this?
