Telltale Games have been credited, not undeservedly, of revitalising the slowly disappearing point and click adventure game genre. The only other company that seems to be doing anything commercial in this field would be Revolution Software with the Broken Sword games (anybody know of any others?).

Telltale Games senior designer Dave Grossman and CEO Dan Connors have recently been interviewed by 4ColorRebbelion and it’s all a rather interesting read. They mention the next (and final) episode in the current Sam and Max season, talk about some of the things they have learnt from releasing episodic content, and mention their console plans (Wii is coming, would like to work on all platforms).

I’m keep an eye on that Indiana Jones point and click with a totally new story being made by an Indie firm, I think it’s totally freeware as it’s a tribute, but I could be wrong.
