Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – first screenshots

First Ghostbusters and now the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Classic/ retro toons are making a come back and about time too I say. I was a much bigger fan of the turtles than I was Ghostbusters.

Worthplaying have posted the first screenshots and the game by Ubisoft is looking marvelous – in fact it bears a striking resemblance to the Prince of Persia games (and therefore Assassins Creed, which could be interesting?). The Prince of Persia games are one of my favorite series of recent times so anything even remotely resembling them is good in my books.

I have heard a few people have complain that the graphics are a bit ropey, but personally I think it looks great – and you have to remember that we don’t know what format these screens are from (it’s coming to all major consoles, including ps2 and xbox) so we will have to wait and see… as long as we don’t have to wait too long.

BTW the new TMNT film is looking pretty sweet too.

Bring it on… erm… dude!
