Another Wii game I am now looking forward too. The distortion of 2d space is a really interesting idea for a game and it looks like things will be taken to extremes in Super Paper Mario.
The Paper Mario games have traditionally taken Mario and twisted it around to do something different, and this new game continues that trend. The game takes place on a 2d plane which can then be twisted and distorted in a 3d way, opening up puzzle solutions and many gameplay opportunities. The sense of depth is used in many ways, from twisting the world through 90 degrees to pushing Mario backwards and forwards though the layers that make up the levels.
This following video is a good example of the kind of puzzles that will be seen ion the game, and if this doesn't interest you... I don't know what will!
The next video shows some of the depth and role playing elements from the game (character/ npc interaction).
