A Game Maker developer has gone and created a Mario style game, with HALO style weaponry. Elements have been stolen from all over, with no individual thing being original, however the overall effect is quite surprising. It's interesting seeing how a developer views another developers work, especially when they turn them into a game in a different perspective (or genre).
It's fun seeing the different ways you can kill an enemy (including with turnips
