There has been lots of buzz about SSX Blur for the Wii on the interweb lately. Largely due to the video below - the first public viewing of the game.

I suspect the interest stems from the fact that SSX is one of EA’s more popular franchises, and the fact that it’s another big name game coming to the smallest console.

I’ve only played one of the SSX games, and wasn’t a massive fan. In fact the game we recently released on Miniclip is, in my opinion, better. However there are clearly a lot of fans of this game, and combined with the Wiimote it may well be one to watch.

Personally I am more interested in 1080 Wii, now THAT will HAVE to rock.

SSX Tricky on the PS2 was a seriously good game, Very addictive, smooth, fun and iwth a huge learning curve that went on an on as your learnt more. I got SSX3 on the Gamecube and it was also brilliant, really neat and highlight recommended. 9.5/10

wow it was only a few years ago that the orinal SSX was a PS2 lauch tittle. love the series. EA made a smart choice to switch to a more affordable console, cuz let me tell you i’ve played all the SSX games and i wouldn’t be able to play the new one if it was PS3 only. cuz there’s no way i’m every going to dump $600 on a console no matter how good the game is. get with it sony. good move EA.

wow easy hotshot , comparing a very simple webgame with a playstation sportsgame that is as evolved as ssx and claiming your web thingy can compete with that is, well , lets say perceptionally flawed.
yes i had a look at the miniclip game, come on if your just begging for webhits for the game …..

Of course they aren’t really comparable, apart from the fact that they are both snowboarding games. I wasn’t saying that our game is technically better - just that I enjoyed it more.

With 30million+ visitors a month Miniclip has no need to beg for traffic, and it’s not my company - just the one I work for.

I’ve been a ssx fan for a while and Tricky and 3 was pretty good but on tour was “ok”. From the looks of Blur It looks pretty Better for a remake of SSX3 and with the create-a-rider and Hoping for online play this one is quite to boot of Tony hawk’s downhill jam and project 8…hmmmm……
