Sega Rally - New cars announced
Written by On Monday Sega announced some new cars for the upcoming Sega Rally Revo (which I got a sneaky play of last month) - it’s not particularly massive news but I find it interesting. Why? Because they’ve announced a Hummer!
In real life I think Humvees are a waste of space and a blight on the environment. In game life, they roxxorz!

The design is based on the HUMMER H3 SUV, but I shortened the overall body height, lowered the ride height, removed most of the glass work from the drivers/passenger doors, added Rally Raid spec wheels and tyres, deleted most of the roof bars, rear doors and door handles and then designed an appropriate racing livery. The result retains the strong HUMMER vibe, but also adds the pedigree of a stripped down and raw racing truck.
The car is bound to take up loads of space on the road, surely it’s the widest in the game? But I reckon it will be loads of fun on the off road courses. I do wonder if it will be slower than other cars but that doesn’t bother me at all.
You also get the McRae Enduro, Mitsubishi Concept-X, and RUF Rt 12 but all I care about is the Hummer… with occasional bouts of the Icelandic Rover - I’m not sure why but I always go for quirky vehicles.
