Retro Remakes competition

The entries for the Retro Remakes 2006 competition are in. With 76 entries the Retro Remakes game development competition is one of the biggest game dev competitions online.
You can view screenshots, and grab downloads from the competition page.
You can also check out the Independent Gaming blog where Tim is slowly working his way though the many games writing reviews as he goes. It appears that more than a few of the games are lacking but there are one or two sparklies in among the rough.

I tried downloading the other day but the server was in overload, so try to pick your times well.
I think their servers were being hammered at the weekend. Apparently they now have the downloads mirrored so you shouldn’t have the same problems.
