Red Steel, the upcoming first person shooter for the Nintendo Wii, is to have a control scheme rejig which will bring full real time free hand swordplay.
I have mentioned Red Steel before and think it is showing a lot of promise. It's one of a massive selection of AAA games that are to come out on the Wii and since I like Ubisoft so much I think it will be worth taking a look.

Years ago, (nearly 10) I went to ECTS in London and saw a game you could play with a sword that you swung around. It was cool and thought it would herald a new era of physical games where you stand up and get involved, but it didn't ... until now!
