Ravenhearst is a bit scarey actually.

Just finished Mystery Case Files: Ravenhearst today and I think my son was a bit scared by the ending which was a little bit spooky.  So just a warning there that it may scare some younger kids, especially those with good imaginations (well that's pretty much all kids then!).

Lots of the rooms have skulls and skeletons in and also the odd dismembered hand or eyeball but he wasn't too bothered by these.  There are lots of spooky noises and the picture puzzles that you have to solve at then end of each level grow more and more scarey (with freaked out looking people in them), plus the story gets spookier. However, I did feel that the story sort of skipped out a bit towards the end.  It was making sense then all of a sudden it's got a ghost in it with no real explanation why.  Anyway, it was still a cool game, check out the review, but be careful with small kids because they might be a teeny bit scared if you haven't hardened them up with Hellraiser and Night of the Living Dead first.
