Pokémon first review

Pocketgamer have posted one of the first english reviews of the new Pokémon game for the DS and, unlike Pokémon Mystery Dungeon this is a “proper” Pokémon game.

I may be 20 something years old but this game really excites me. I have only played one other Pokémon game, but really loved it. I was doing really well in the game, until my brother saved over my game save meaning I would have had to start again from scratch… something I really didn’t want to do.

The review is largely positive, initial concerns that it is “just more of the same”, actually turn to cries of joy when they realise it’s “just more of the same” - afterall, why change a winning formula?

I am really looking forward to getting me some Pokémon DS action.
