Ninjah is a retro influenced, physics based, indie developed, platform game.
Control your little Ninjah around a variety of increasingly challenging levels jumping from platform to platform, swinging on your ninja elastic (it's not very ropey... try it and you'll see what I mean), and shooting your Ninjah... um... gun. Not the traditional weapon of a Ninja but it helps you get around. Oh - and did I mention you can slow down time?
I love the way the levels are structured. Each level takes all the possible gameplay elements and shuffles them up making you approach them in different ways. Some levels are very easy, and others more challenging. It does take a bit of getting in to but Ninjah is a great little game.
To tell the truth I'm not overjoyed by the physics in the game, the basics are very sound, but I do feel there is too little friction, and it's very easy to end up in an uncontrollable bouncing frenzy. It would be nice if the friction was increased a touch to make it a little easier to achieve the pixel perfect controls that are required. That said the game is still very enjoyable, and once you get the hang of things the controls aren't "that" bad - so give it a go. It's free after all.
