New site – xbox360 dashboard themes

A small post for a friend of Binary Joy's. Matt Brett has recently released his latest offering - DashboardThemes.com

Rather than try and explain what is going on I thought I would let Matt do the talking and grab something from the about page.

Try and think back to the first time you browsed Themes on the Xbox Live Marketplace. You probably got all excited at the every expanding list of available themes. But that excitement was probably dampened when you tried to check out some of those themes. You simply can’t. We’re expected to purchase themes that we can’t even preview. And of course, there is an explicit statement that states “There are no refunds for this item.” So, what are our options?

The idea behind the site was to cover all the themes that are in the system, letting people make informed choices over their purchases. Matt and fellow developer, Andrew, went and purchased every Dashboard theme taking screenshots of them then adding them to the site.

It may well save you some money since a lot of the themes seem to be very badly designed. A worthwhile resource for all xbox360 gamers out there.
