New Assassins Creed Gameplay video
Written by I last mentioned Assassins Creed a couple of days ago but it’s now time for E3 and there is a new gameplay video doing the rounds.
The action is a lot less acrobatic than Prince of Persia, but there is still a hyper real sense of motion with everything being exaggerated. The ease with which Altair (the player character) climbs up buildings is wonderful and the size of the environment he is covering is vast. The levels are considerably more open and varied than the Prince of Persia games.
The crowd interactions are looking very cool, and I quite like the beggar girl who comes up to the hero for some money/ food. The sense of scale is great, although I’m a little surprised that nobody batted an eyelid when he swan dived off the top of the tower at the start.
Despite being more realistic the combat also looks very fluid, and my own concerns that it would be too tough and slow look like they are unfounded.
