More from Prototype
Prototype is looking amazing. Parkour is something I would love to be able to do but don’t have the confidence to try, I love seeing others do it in the movies and even on the street (I’ve spottted a few people doing it around London).
Prototype is full of Parkour.
Apparently the game has a lot of code taken from the Incredible Hulk games, with the wall running and that sort of thing. It makes me interested in seeing if I can pick it up from Ebay or somewhere so that I can give it a go.
The videos below (more on GameTrailers) show a dynamism to the lead character that I haven’t seen in a game before… including the amazing Assassins Creed.
I’d love to see some proper gameplay footage but this is the best available at the moment…
And here’s a developer diary with some background on the game.
There’s loads more info over on Rock Paper Shotgun (why do they get to go to all the cool press events?
)

I love parkour too. I’m going on a mini parkour course soon. I’m pretty fit and flexible from my Aikido and can do big rolls but I want to learn how to somersault (I used to do them on trampolines as a kid)
