Medal of Honour: Heroes 2
There’s some more Medal of Honour: Heroes 2 videos doing the rounds. For me this game is currently being overshadowed by the imminent release of Call of Duty 4, but I reckon it looks like it has some potential.
The videos I have included below show bits of the same level being played in the 2 different game modes.
Campaign Mode
Campaign Mode is the traditional run and gun style first person shooter mode. You use the Wii’s Nunchuk controller to move, and the Wiimote to aim and shoot. All pretty standard really. Unfortunately the Medal of Honour games are looking a little tired now - especially since the Wii doesn’t have the power of the other current gen consoles.
Arcade Mode
For me Arcade Mode actually looks like the more interesting mode of the two, which seems to go against popular opinion online. This is played as an on rails shooter, much like Time Crisis or Virtua Cop in the arcades. You are unable to directly control the character, instead concentrating on shooting the bad guys. This mode was developed primarily for use with the upcoming Wii Zapper accessory - although I can’t see any reason why you would need to use the Zapper to play the game - and likely won’t bother with the attachment myself.

Man that guy in the first part oif the campaign video would be SO dead, didn’t use any cover, just stood in the open and shot whilst being fired at by multiple “bad shot” Germans haha
