Limbo – gorgeous new platform game

The game Limbo has been doing the rounds recently, and it appears to have come out of nowhere. Very little is known about the game apart from it's name, and a teaser movie clip.

Based purely on the video comparisons have been made between Limbo and the classic adventure games Fade to Black and Another World. Whether the game will love up to them is another matter entirely.

The visuals are wonderful with the actual levels and characters made up of simple black silhouettes and the backgrounds being beautiful grayscale paintings. The gameplay looks intriguing, dynamic environments and animation combine to make an immersive world.
