Kotaku have announced the winners of the various Independent Games Festival.
I think that it's great that Indie developers are getting some recognition from larger companies. The IGF is being held alongside the Game Developers conference (which Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft attend) - so some good things could come from this... at least for the entrants.
The overall winner (the award is called the Seumas McNally Award) of the IGF awards is Aquaria - a game I have a mentioned a number of times, and am rather looking forward too.
You can see a full list of the winners on Kotaku.
