Harry Potter: Order of the Pheonix – for the Wii
I mentioned the Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix the other day, but now I have seen this controls demo for the Wii version and I am more excited than ever. The game looks to be a stunner both aesthetically and in gameplay terms.
Spells are cast in combinations of the Wiimote and nunchuck gestures. You can attract and repel various objects in the environment. You can make things fly and create fires. There are no mentions of how many spells are in the completed game but in the video we can see at least 8/9.
Also the environment is loaded on the fly so there are no load times between areas. This is a very cool feature and works great in games like Grand Theft Auto, and Shadow of the Colossus, and I really hope it becomes standard. The next Zelda should definitely feature something like this!
