Gish 2 - gooey goodness
Gish was a troubled game. Critically acclaimed, but aimed at too hard core an audience. The concept was fantastic but the controls were just too complex for many to get into. This hasn’t stopped the developers, Cryptic Sea, from workings a sequel - and they’re continuing with the focus towards the hardcore.
We started out with physics similar to Gish 1, but we were running into the same limitations we had with the old model, so we decided to start over. The new model is made up of 128 particles which move independently and have an attraction to each other.

The concept looks intriguing, but I can’t help but feel the game will suffer the same fate as the previous version. A wonderful concept but controls that only the best will be able to master. I look forward to being proved wrong as, based upon the original Gish, they deserve to do well.
