Game Give Away of the Day back in action
Game Give Away of the Day stopped giving away totally free games during the summer break (mainly August) and is now back in action with Arkanoid - The Virtual Isles. I’ve just downloaded it and will be giving it a blast soon. Graphics seem a bit crappy looking but I’ll see what the gameplay is like.
Anyway, good to hear they are giving away games again and I’m looking forward to seeing what turns up.
By the way, if you like decent breakout clones then checkout my reviews of these ones:
- Bricks of Egypt 2 (Classic)
- Bricks of Egypt/Camelot/Atlantis (all really good)
- Fizzball (unique and great for kids)
- Gem Ball (great fun - 3D)
- Ricochet Lost Worlds: Recharged (standard setter)

Hey Jake - I’m still waiting for that review of Ricochet Infinity you said you’d do
I will do it, and I’m looking forward to it. I just didn’t think my game would tkae so long, sorry. I’ve also nearly finished Paper Mario for GB and I’ll review that, oh and Super Mario for DS.
We already have a review of Super Mario on the DS… and what’s this paper mario on the GB? You mean Game Cube right?
hey jake, nice post, and if you’re looking for a decent breakout clone, check out BreakQuest from nurium games. Very nice stuff!!
Gogol - BreakQuest is great - I’ve been thinking about writing a review of it actually… in fact I think I will add it to my “to write” list
Ben: Oh yeah so you do have a review, oh well, well I’d have given it 5 stars, it’s RAD. Yeah I meant Paper Mario on Cube, that’s a 5 star as well.
Gogol: I’ve heard good stuff about Breakquest, played it but found it pretty hard. I’ll give it another go.
