Yesterday CNet have posted a rundown of 10 of the best free PC games available on the web. Now these aren't Flash games or small browser based games, but proper bona-fide downloadable pc games. And there are some really nice ones in there too.
Worth a look if you fancy some free gaming goodness.

hey cool. I'll have to check out Abuse again as it's been a while. Also I bought Hidden and Dangerous when it was new but never got into it much as I was an FPS kid and found it too slow, but my mates loved it. Couple of the games on the list are multiplayer only which isn't so good for me since I weened myself off the crack-like addiction of online FPS games
Will checkout out Marathon trilogy though.
