Flow (Free Flash Game)
Flow is a neat flash game that I found today and then played for over an hour (naughty me). Basically you start as a small worm and you have to go around eating little amoeba and growing. Sounds a bit like a snake clone doesn’t it? Well luckily you can’t eat yourself like in snake clones, but other things can eat you!
You can also go up and down levels, by eating amoeba with blue and red dots respectively, where you’ll encounter bigger amoeba and also other worms, plus fish and jellyfish type creatures. The bigger creates fight back as they also have mouths. They will try to eat the dots that make up your body whilst you are trying to eat the dots that make up theirs. Each different enemy requires a different tactic to beat and when you beat them they release lots of little amoeba for you to scoff. Eventually you reach the bottom (by now you are one big mother of a worm) where you combat another worm. On beating the boss you go back to the start of the game except you are now a jellyfish and you get to try the whole process again - cool.
I reached the end again as a jellyfish but nothing happened, I was a bit sad because I wanted to be a fish next (and then a frog and then a mouse and then a monkey and then a human, oh wait I’ve already done that). Oh well, perhaps they’ll add that later. Anyway, it has lovely relaxing sounds, and the movement of everything is very “flowing” like it’s underwater and the game is great fun. Have a go - it’s bound to distract you for a while…

This was big news a while ago. The even bigger news is that it has been picked up to be a game on the ps3 (I belevie on their arcade offering… whatever they call it).
It is indeed very cool
Yeah I missed the news cos I was coding so much, I was like 2-3 months out of touch, but I’ve caught up now
