First 8 minutes of Zelda Phantom Hourglass

I did consider not watching or posting this, but someone over at WiiNintendo.net has recorded the first 8 minutes of the Phantom Hourglass and it’s looking wonderful.

The reason I chose to post it (and watch it) is basically that all Zelda games start in largely the same way

  • Wake up somewhere strange
  • Talk to person
  • Get sword

… and that’s basically what you see.

The game is being played on an emulator and there are a few graphical glitches (and a mouse cursor) but I am fairly confident these glitches won’t happen in the real version. Now when is it coming to the UK?

An emulator? I can’t watch this then. It will totally ruin it for me if I see something I don’t like.

*Drooling

P.S. The states get it this year. I think U.K. gets it right in time for the holiday season. Seriously, we can battle WiFi style on this. :)

I was worried at first as well, but a friend of mine watched it and told me it was great so I had to have a peak… and ended up watching the whole thing :S

It doesn’t give much away - afterall the game will last much longer than 8 minutes…

You watched it then Long?

It’s mentioned on the wiiNintendo post that there’s no sound. I guess there were issues with the video capture software he used.

I watched only the first few seconds of it. BTW, did you buy a camera? LOL

Did I buy a camera? I’m confused :S (I’ve had a camera for a while).

If you mean the photo… I’m moving things around :)
