Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles video

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is due out on the Wii some time next year. It’s a follow up to the Gamecube game with the same name and is a game I have been looking forward to trying. I always wanted to try the original but it required multiple Gameboys, and Gamecube to Gameboy connectors to make the most of it, something I don’t have.
Finally some gameplay footage has been revealed for the new game, and it’s looking mighty fine. Square Enix prove once again that they are the masters of the gorgeous video game. They also show some interesting looking features, for example there appears to be some house building in there which reminds of MySims more than Final Fantasy.

There’s actually going to be two Crystal Chronicles games for the Wii. The one above is the downloadable one via WiiWare. You play the role of a boy king charged with building up his city.
The second one is called Crystal Chronicles Crystal Bearers which is the real true action RPG sequel. There’s rumors both with emphasize online play so multi-gameboys be damned!
