Bartoneus over at Critical Hits has posted a 2 part transcript of a Questions and Answers session with the Fallout 3 developers (part 1, and part 2).

Fallout 3 is a highly anticipated role playing game that hasn’t had any mentions around these parts so I thought this might be a perfect time to mention it. Fallout 3 is developed by Bethesda Softworks, who have previously worked on the Elder Scrolls series (Oblivion review on Binary Joy).

A quick Google has told me that Fallout 3 has had an interesting history (from Wikipedia where you can read more about the game and its history)

Fallout 3 was initially under development by Black Isle Studios—a company owned by Interplay Entertainment—under the codename Van Buren. Interplay Entertainment went bankrupt and closed down Black Isle Studios before the game could be completed, and the license to develop Fallout 3 was sold for a $1,175,000 minimum guaranteed advance against royalties to Bethesda Softworks, a studio famous for the Elder Scrolls series.

Recently there was also a teaser trailer that also looks very cool and has helped build considerable talk and anticipation around the title.

Heh, Megadeth used that music as an intro to “Set the World Afire” 20+ years ago. Megadeth means death of a million people by nuclear blast according to one of their album covers.
