There seem to be lots of retro games being remade at the moment, and they’re looking great. I’m not sure why but I seem to be straying away from 3d games recently and playing more 2d ones. Maybe it’s because I work in web games… I’m not sure.

Anyway Exile was a space based platform game first developed in the early 90’s and is now being remade in the mid 2000’s.

RetroRemakes have a screenshot and a few other bits of information but for me this is yet another game to add to my “to play” list.

It was actualy first made in the early 80’s for the bbc.
Then it came out on the amiga etc in the early 80’s.

Oops - thanks for correcting me. My knowledge of retro gaming history is rather shabby, since I was only little when most of these games came out :) I must admit I thought I looked up the age on wikipedia, but it doesn’t surprise me that I got it wrong.

Exile was wicked….I got the original for BBC when it first came out. Now I have it as a BBC model B emulator game…Major Ironic huh? 32k game on an Athlon!! I’ve seen bigger mouse cursors!!
