Eternity’s Child Leaves XBLA For Wii
One of the more interesting indie games in development is called Eternity’s Child, originally intended for Xbox Live Arcade. However there’s a shift in platforms and the game is now slated for Nintendo Wii. Why? It seems the game changed from a short arcade type into a full blown story.
It revolves around an eco-green theme. The planet was one teaming with life but pollution has cause the ice caps to melt flooding the planet and killing off most of life. In the aftermath, only two groups survive, the winged and wingless. Both vie for control and attempt a genocide of the other by building automated robots but the robots turn on their creators.
The graphics are entirely hand drawn and will be backed by an orchestral soundtrack. Damn, I can’t wait. Next year for console gaming is going to be great!
