Eschalon Book II News
I’ve just heard that Eschalon Book II is well underway and due for a 2009 release. I played Book I around Christmas 2007 time and loved EVERY MINUTE of it. I highly recommend it and have been meaning to review it for some time now.
It’s an isometric classic RPG which is similar to the old Ultima games in style. You control one character (not a party) who you can upgrade in numerous skills (mixed class). Fighting is turn-based. Book I had a great plot with really good writing; this was mixed with great graphics and audio which spiced up the atmosphere. The whole mix was deeply addictive and compelling for an RPG fan like me.
So anyway, if you haven’t tried Eschalon Book I out yet, what are you waiting for? You can download the demo here. Demos are available for PC, Mac and Linux.
