Call of Duty 4 multiplayer

Call of Duty 4 is looking better every time I read about it. The latest thing I have seen is videos of the multiplayer mode. Multiplayer is probably the element of the series I have played the most so these videos are very interesting to me.

There are a couple of things I notice in these videos that interest me. Firstly the "cowards way out" option. Apparently this lets you kill yourself, which at first seems a bit daft, but when you realise it stops the enemy from getting an extra kill it adds an extra element to the tactical arsenal at our disposal.

There is also an interview with one of the developers where some other interesting information is talked about.

Secondly, you can no longer hide behind walls to prevent getting shot. I'm sure that different walls have different properties but some at least can be shot through. Again, this will make fighting more tactical, and will change things a lot for snipers (more options for kills, less places to hide).

In fact if you check out gametrailers.com you will see there are a vast amount of Call of Duty 4 videos with all sorts of interviews and gameplay previews.
