Game Give Away Of The Day are giving away a decent platform game today called Azangara. It's a 2D platform game but with 3D graphics and it's very nicely done with some cool touches. You basically have to collect diamonds in each "room". A room is bigger than the screen and contains corridors, ladders/chains, lifts, traps, monsters etc so it's a scrolling game.
The 3D-ness is really good and the graphics are well made. There are a few "translation" errors, but I'm not bothered by those.
I recommend giving it a try!
