Ninja Gaiden is coming to the dS and it's looking awesome. It does a number of things differently to your average DS game. The console is turned on it's side and it looks like it's entirely stylus based controls - certainly the fighting is. Watching the video it looks like the controls are confusing but apparently they work very well indeed. The combat is actually shown off in the video so have a watch and see what I mean.
The stand out feature from the video is the graphics though. It's certainly going to take the crown of most attractive DS title from whoever currently holds it. It seems to combine pre-rendered and real time 3d incredibly well, for a very stylish look. I'm most impressed.
My only concern is that the game will be very tough - something the Gaiden games are well known for. I'm hoping things will be made a touch easier for the DS's more casual audience, but not too far - I still want a challenge!

I have one thing to say--left handed mode. As in, they'd better have one!
I hadn't even thought of that... and I know a couple of left handers too. I reckon they must have thought of it - Brain Training was the first vertically oriented game and that had it... they'd be crazy not to.

Awesome clip. I thought the Ninja gaiden looks tiny under the ds stylus, definately interested in playing this title.
