Aquaria interview and gameplay video
Aquaria, the igf nominated indie game from bitblot, is looking wonderful - and they are showcasing this with a brand new gameplay video.
Aquaria is an indie game, and it looks like it will be a wonderful one. Not only does it have awesome visuals but the game looks very different to your average game, and appears to feature many new twists and ideas.
Gamedev.net have also recently featured an interview with the team behind the game and I love developer interviews as I find it incredibly interesting to get inside the heads of the people making the games I love (or am looking forward too).
Derek: Yeah, definitely. It was really important to us that everything feels natural. In games you often have something blocking your path that very much feels like it was placed there artificially to prevent you from moving forward. In Aquaria we tried to avoid that.
