A while ago I played Alien Breed 2005, a PC-based rewrite of Alien Breed, and it was good - I played it non-stop until I finished it. Now there is an updated version called Alien Breed Obliteration.
If you enjoyed the original Alien Breed games on the Amiga then this is sure to be a nostalgic blast for you. Even if you've never played the original, check it out.
Some tips:
- The home page has some cheats, but only "losers" use cheats 
I finished it without cheating!
- If you run out of keys, don't worry just shoot the doors until they explode.
- Don't "run and gun" - you'll just die. It's more about carefully taking out each alien and progressing cautiously. However, you can't hang around either as I'm pretty sure the aliens regenerate in some places!

Ah, Alien Breed and AMIGA - every time I hear about great game from this times I feel nostalgic. I have to try that one.
