Until recently Metal Gear Solid had kind of fallen off the radar. People have been concentrating on the brilliance that is the Wii, and the constant mishaps in Sony land. However recently things have been picking up again. There have been rumors of Metal Gear Solid coming to other formats (namely Wii... I'm not convinced myself) and now this 13 minute long video.
It's looking sweet.
The graphics are all in game (hence my lack of conviction regarding a Wii version), but there is basically no gameplay footage - although I guess if you've played a Meta Gear Solid game before you know at least roughly what to expect.
I'm told that the footage is actually a new version of an older trailer but, whilst I recognise bits of it, I'm sure that a lot of it is new. It's well worth hanging around until the end as well, the last 2 minutes are stunning.
Check out the date as well. It's coming in 2007 (full stop!). I wish they would give us some more information but I'll take whatever I can get

I completed 2 and 3 on the PS2 (never played 1) and enjoyed them both (3 was better). Hope this is good!
